JEDS was awarded a construction contract for work on Access Nor'West, a Co-Op Community Health Centre. This contract highlights JEDS' credential as a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Efficient Design) builder and aligns with our focus on reducing impact on the environment. JEDS donates office space to high school participants working with the S.E.L.F program. The program focuses on developing Sustainable Empowering Life Fundamentals, a healthy living initiative of Seven Oaks School District. The program is a Chronic Disease Prevention Initiative funded by Manitoba Health.

JEDS supports Oak Hammock March Interpretive Centre - January 15, 2012
Environmental sustainabilty is a core value at JEDS. In support of the Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretive Centre, JEDS will sponsor the annual Minister's Dinner on February 29. Last year’s event was a huge success with over $137,000 raised to support Duck’s Unlimited in this educational initative.

What better way for a construction company to give back? Throughout May and June of 2011, JEDS donated over 250 hours to build homes for Habitat for Humanity, helping this vital community organization to create affordable housing for families in Winnipeg.
JEDS at the Manitoba Marathon (Sunday June 19th) - June 13, 2011
The 2011 Manitoba Marathon is fast approaching and the JEDS Relay Team is rrready to go! The Manitoba Marathon raises funds every year for people living with intellectual disabilities and we are proud to be participating in this year's event!. JEDS' has established an initial goal of raising $500 towards the event and hope you can lend your support. Of course there are many ways you can support: through an online donation or by supporting the JEDS Relay Team at the marathon. The marathon takes place on Sunday June 19th will start and finish at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. If you are free come on out and support and cheer all of this year's marathon runners.
